District Jail, Karimnagar was built in the year 1897 by the Nizam’s of erstwhile Hyderabad State. The authorized accommodation of the Jail was for ( 99 ) Prisoners which was increased to ( 299 ) Prisoners by adding 10 new Barracks in the year 2003. The Jail is 160 K.Ms. distance from Hyderabad.
